Automating Vst Instruments

So I have been playing with Renoise now for around about 3 or 4 months and I am really beginning to like it. I am however a bit stuck with something. :confused: When I load a vst into the instrument slot, say for example z3ta, I can’t seem to find any way to automate the parameters of the vsts within Renoise. Is there a way to do this and if so, can someone point me in the right direction?
