Is it possible that some of the vst parameters can’t be automated by digits (in the pattern editor)? But it can be automated in the automation window. Because this is the xx time it occur.

You can automate the first 15 parameters of a VST effect in the pattern editor.
In the automation window you can automate all parameters indeed.
If you have use an Automate Device to control a VSTI, you have a little more luck, because first of all, you can select any particular 14 parameters you want to automate and if you are out of slots, then you can pick another and control another set of 14 for the same instrument. And both devices are fully controllable from the pattern editor.
