At this stage it’s @23,000 views from one million & next Feb will be three years up… Have no idea who is viewing but there’s a DOS interest as well as AXS is both Windows & DOS, a bit of a paradox…
Just made ONE million views just minutes ago… This for a retro windows/DOS tracker given free in 2001… Thread has not even reached 3 years old yet… I think many are liking the crash-free attribute, portability plus sheer retro design with a synth that still sounds good along with creativity under constriction… Just a guess…

Well, I used the thing in the end of 90s and y2k, first the predecessor called “Analogic” and then “AXS”. It sometimes (rarely) crashed, don’t know if the current (last) versions still do.
I think it’s weird, it has unique sound, I loved using it and resampling it for Fast Tracker II. It’s real simple osc and filter, but the grit I’ve found nowhere else. Anyone have idea for a modern (VST) synth with that digital sound/filters other than AXS itself?

I Have heard of their first product, never seen it… Wow, You been around awhile then…
AXS has great smooth distortion as well…
One can always use AXS itself as a MIDI sound module you get up to 7 instances of the synth which depending on the patch can be mono or poly plus 8 is the sampler…
I have hooked all kinda crazy crap into AXS then if you got virtual audio cable you can route that to anything else… Some guy did this in current Reaper awhile back…
Here I use as sound module for old beta Radium-
Also pipe in & record pattern effect curves using external MIDI… When at right spot in play I hit ‘run’ giving a smoother curve then by hand in AXS-
