Ah. Takes me back to old discussions about electronic and aucustic music. What is real? :P

It’s what the musician does with his tool that counts. Not the size of it. :P

Ableton Live for example is, surprise, a program for Live appearances, not
mainly (or at all?) for music creation. So comparing it to Renoise doesn’t make
sense. Although I haven’t tried it more than had a brief glimpse.

As for the other programs, if you have a set of loops in Renoise, you can
almost as easily arrange them to something. Because you can do that,
does that make Renoise a bad program? Or is it the person who only does that who isn’t a real composer? I leave the question open…
