But that does not mean that I did not check the entries and the least one can say is that they were very versatile. Happily surprised to see how the same sounds get so differently fscked up by every other entry

ah, thanks a lot. i was gonna do that; i was just worried that there were particular rules to adhere to.
and i really liked your song, parsec; it managed to be intricately detailed, catchy, and original, while remaining undeniably hip-hop. in fact i think it was the only song from the entire compo that fit all four categories.
I’ve not quite listened to them all yet, but Sami’s track is brilliant, in my opinion.

well, I am rather surprised I did not turn up at the very low end … it was fun anyway. Looking for the next battle
thanks to those who voted positively for me, and i apologise for my horrendous (lack of) mastering, and for how boring the track was in places. 
and yeah, herbert’s track was definitely one of my favourites, but only for the amazing secret song - i thought the ‘hip-hop’ part was decidedly average, actually. i wonder how many others rated the track highly just on the strength of the second part? just curious…
(i decided while ranking to simply award extra points for ‘hiphopness’ rather than give a low score for a lack of it)
