When Renoise is running, I can’t use the Windows key on my keyboard for OS shortcuts – i.e. (windows)-E to load exporer, (windows)-D to show desktop, etc, etc.
I noticed if I go into keyboard config, the key can be used in hot-key combinations, which makes me think Renoise is intercepting it and not passing it through to Windows.
After more research, I’ve discovered that all windows-based shortcuts are blocked (i.e.: as set in icon->rightclick->properties->shortcut->shortcut key)… I have my text editor set to ctrl-alt-z, and it won’t load up when Renoise is running either.
EDIT: running Windows 2000 Pro SP4, in case it is OS dependant.
That’s not a bug. That’s a feature.
