Waltzy, speedy, instrumental, broken and junglishtistically-like…
It’s a bit draggy perhaps, but y’know how it goes … it makes more
sense amongst it’s brethren tracks… how bad is that for an excuse hehe
You keep getting better and better. I don’t know if this song warrants 7 minutes though, you should break it down with a few ambient moments or a few changes in your piano melodies as you go along because it’s really hard to justify me listening to the same loop for so long when it’s not ‘minimal’.
I would like to hear it in context of ‘it’s brethren’ if it’s not a stand alone track.
Sorry for the late reply… and lack of activity in general…
But hey, thanks for the kind words and feedback!
Yeah I agree it IS draggy… am currently working on adding
more variation, putting more emphasis on the 3/4 and adding
more melodic variety… It’s still approx 7 minutes but not to
an annoying extent
I can upload the edited track if anyone’s interested
Anyways, thanks for the feedback!! It’s been really helpful!!
alright!!
tried to add more variations, especially getting a better composition
was hell because I kinda wanted the song to be eh… overdriven…?
and when I rendered and uploaded this morning I found another
dozen fukkups which I fixed… eh, yeah
This track is superb. Conjures images of old alfred hitchcock flicks for me, mahem/madness, it’s pure genius.
Was blasting this tune in my car this afternoon.
Certain productions from the likes of, say, Richard D James or Tom Jenkinson make me scratch my head in amazement.
This had the same effect on me.
BTW - Checked out your link Conner…
PFD - Choke & Basement Wigger - Track 1.
Very nice.
Sorry to post this here. I realize it’s unrelated, but was not sure if you were Dac Chartrand or not from site and email link here gives an error message…
