i’ve been playing with renoise trying to get some nice sounding drum breaks going with one hits only. do you guys usually use drum loops instead and just retrigger each hit? i used to chop up drum loops but have since moved on to using individual wav files for each bd hh snare etc but when putting it back together, it tends to get quite thin and empty sounding. what do you guys do to get around this?
