Then started thinking how it could be a very interesting benefit to conceptualize an idea of using a CC message to bring Renoise to front. This would primarily be used with multiple instances of Renoise at once.
Could it work?
The rough or root usage idea I’ve come up with is this:
User loads instances of renoise, assigns each renoise with different CC messages for “bring to front”.
User then is able to send each instance to front, according to CC message sent.
Maybe also VST windows?
