Hey! Something I would love to see in Renoise is the ability to record automation inside VST effects and instruments just by right clicking the knob. I know you can achieve this effect by using the instrument automation tool but I find it to be kind of annoying to do things this way.
Just a thought which I have every time I’m trying to do some trick automation inside a synth.
makes obvious sense with effects and sure it has been oft requested.
A little bit harder with Instruments as they are not tied to a specific track. But maybe once a parameter is tied into an Instrument Automation Device it knows there is a connection between the two and so records it for the Meta Device. A learn mode for setting this up would be an obvious advantage too!
