I noticed that the Cut FX only works in the volume column for VSTS (Midi), but not when you place it in the fx column. Would be handy if you could also use them in the FX columns to stop midi notes.

According to the manual, Cxx only affects sample volume without stopping playback. It does not affect midi signals.
Cx, on the other hand, can affect midi (and plugins) and stop the playback.
This is intended behavior and I dunno if it’s possible to change it in any way.
