Question about the cabinet gain slider , it seems that sometimes clipping occurs when the gain slider is set to 50 percent , but when I push it all the way to 100 percent there is no clipping , so me thinks that there is an internal compression going on whe the gain slider is pushed to the max.
I recorded some loop (inexternal editor ) with a 50 percent gain amount and with 100 percent ,at full setting the peaks are tamed
The cabinets gain feeds a tube. This does compression and distortion - that’s the point of it.
Use a gainer or the mixer volumes to only make the signal louder.
