Can I trigger the Sample Record start / stop with my computer keyboard

I want to trigger the start / stop button in the sample recorder dialog with my computer keyboard:

Can it be done? I know I can use a MIDI note, but how do I set it to respond to my computer keyboard?

I cant see a key-binding so I don’t think so. You could try midi-ox http://www.midiox.com/ it allows you to use the computer keyboard to create midi messages, I think you have to use it with midi-yoke but I’m not sure, its been a very long time since I used it last.

Pressing enter should trigger recording. Having key bindings for it would be nice though… I don’t want to close the window with escape.
