Hi all,
I’ve been installing new VST effects, but Renoise can’t seem to find them. I’ve tried installing all AU, VST, VST2 and VST3 versions and they are in the respective folders. All the VSTs I’ve installed in the past are found in the DSP pane, but not the ones I’ve installed lately. I’ve double checked the paths, rescanned, restarted both Renoise and my computer but Renoise still can’t find them.
I am using Mac and Renoise 3.2.2
Any ideas how to solve this? Thanks in advance!
Damn, this is so frustrating.
Tried renaming some of the .vst files in case Renoise had added the plugins to a blacklist. Well, that didn’t fix the problem.
Also tried renaming the .db cache files in the preference folder so that Renoise would scan all the VSTs when I restart it. Then starting Renoise took significantly longer than usual as Renoise scanned through the VST folders but now it didn’t find even all of the older VSTs.
I think Iam gonna try to rename the cache files again and then reinstall all the plugins one by one to see what happens.
