So this is a weird one. TAL Chorus (the windows 64-bit vst2 version) doesn’t show up in my list of effects plugins in Renoise. I’ve rescanned, I’ve reinstalled, I’ve double-checked that it’s in the folder with all my other VST plugins. It shows up in Reaper no problem, but I can’t seem to find it in Renoise. Anyone else had this issue?
Are you looking for it in the trackDSP tab or the instrument editor?
It doesn’t show up in either menu.
I should mention that my other TAL plugins do show up, under the “TAL” or “Torgu Audio Line” headers
Maybe try right-click menu on the DSP list and click:
‘Show Hidden Devices’
Could have got hidden by mistake?
I check “Show Hidden Devices,” but it still doesn’t show up.
EDIT: Ok, I think I fixed it. I went into the AppData\Roaming\Renoise folder and moved the two plugin cache files (CachedVSTs_x64.db and CachedFailedVSTs_x64.db). This forced renoise to rescan all plugins. It found Tal Chorus, and it now shows up in my device list!
