the procedure entry point DeflateSetHeader could not be located in the dynamic link library c:\program files\gtk2-runtime\bin\libgio-2.0-0.dll
I have installed the latest GTK runtime. my libgio version is 2.28.8 and theres no conflicting dlls in my system path. any help would be appreciated. if u can run Scala.exe without any problem, would u please provide me with your libgio dll?
my post is not about the renoise scala tool, I’m trying to run the standalone Scala app.
BTW, now that you’re mentioning it, where can i find renoise 2.8 compatible xrnx for the Scala tool. I think it’s been removed from renoise tool portal
It would appear you’re missing the zlib1.dll file as DeflateSetHeader refers to a procedure call in zlib, not gtk. Here’s a link to the officical zlib site. http://www.zlib.net/ The latest version of zlib is 1.2.8. You’ll find a download link to zlib128-dll.zip a little ways down the page. I would think installing it should fix your problem.

hey, thanks mate, you’re a saviour and you thought right. Scala runs like a charm now. BOoM!
I’m guessing you want scl to xrni v. 1.5. That is the version l have in my Renoise 2.8 tools folder. I could upload it if you know of a decent upload site that requires no signup, but asking the creator would be the best bet.
mmm, 1-back in my time mediafire didn’t need an account but I’m not sure if its still the same
2- Google drive needs an account but it needs a Google account and who doesn’t have one?really? (to keep it safer and private you can send me the link via private msg)
3- archive.org too needs an account but its totally spam free and it has a good contributing community. it’s cool
4-https://www.fileconvoy.com/ <=Google’s first search result for register free upload
5- why should I ask “the creator” when you’re offering me your helping hand? community thing… you know
~~If you’re a registered user with an up to date license, you can download older versions from the Backstage area.
Otherwise, you can grab older demo versions from the Archived Releases page.~~
Edit: Derp, you were looking for the tool’s .xrnx file. I somehow missed that part
hey dblue, hope you’re breathing well. my friend up in the above post calls you “the creator” I thought of God and stuff for a moment after reading that
