How do I change color of the reddish-orange colored ring that shows up around the entire Pattern Editor when you hit escape, and around the current pattern in the pattern matrix?
It does not seem to be changeable in “Theme > Color Settings” and I couldn’t find a file that references it inside of the Renoise executable.
It’s a ‘industry standard’ - all daws have something in red when you are recording, whether it is a round red shape on a button or a red border around the focused pattern editor.
Hot pink would have fit my theme better…
The thing has a function. See it as a way of protection against insanity:Allowing to change its color would also allow someone to blend it in with the background (of which people actually exist who want to dim out the functionality completely).
