I would be great if renoise had a shaper based on the chebyshev polynomials .
I created a reaktor ensemble that does just that , 11 harmonic weightings (cheby shev) and a hard clip for the input stage ., this way you can drive the input way beyond 0db (cheby polynomials can easily clip )
