Don’t understand your question. You can stream YouTube, Netflix etc. to the Chromecast with your phone, but you can’t browse the internet with it.

The smartphone is the remote and the direct link to internet at the same time
as far as i understand if the chromecast and the mobile phone are on the same bluetooth+wifi, it should be possible to cast from the mobile phone to chromecast to tv.
Yes, you can control the Chromecast stick (playing movies) and surf with your smartphone at the same time. That’s what I’m doing currently. Watching a movie on WOW and write in this forum.
