Sometimes i forget where i have used an instrument and i find it a bit difficult to find back to it. So i suggest to make all the notes from the selected instrument higlighted/colored in the pattern editor and matrix, this way you could easily spot where they are.
It could be something like right clicking the instrument you need to find and then select in the menu “higlight in editor” or something similar.
