just read about michael brauer,and his technique for compression.
how would you set that up in renoise??

i think its something with setting up 4 send-busses/tracks and having 4 different settings on a compressor*?but i might be all wrong.
i need to read it all again.
but hope someone can help 
Could you not just use a set of sends to set up the compression busses and send to them in groups? Then you can still adjust the original signal if desired. What was in the article sounds simple enough. Short of having some outboard gear…

I think what he means is that, whatever you’ve got going on in your track, you need to think of each sound as belonging to either the low-end, middle or treble.
When you’ve got that figured out, you can send the audio to a dedicated bus (send track) that deal with each of these frequencies.
Bass, mid-range and treble - think of your sound as a band having those three members
