controlling global pitch of multisample renoise instrument

Hi,

I was wondering if there is a way of controlling the pitch of all samples within a multisample instrument in realtime.

For example, if I had a sample that I had autosliced within renoise to playback over different keys, is there a way of moving just one slider to affect the pitch of all slices simultaneously rather than moving the slider for each individual slice?

You could try using the pitch sample envelope and just use one point. There also this: New Tool (2.8): Pitch Device Automator if you want to automate it. Otherwise you could use ghost-keys (notes in a track with no instrument number specified - they don’t trigger a new envelope start) and the 0Exx (position in sample envelopes) pattern command or just the 0Dxx (down) and 0Uxx (up) pattern commands.

Thanks for your response. The pitch device automation device you posted a link to looks promising, though I haven’t managed to get it to work with sample instruments in renoise, even using the “sample transpose” option, rather than the pitch envelope.

I am aware of the pattern commands and such, but would prefer a real time option for adjusting “pitch on the fly” so to speak.
