Controlling Massive From Renoise?

I’m stuck! I’m trying to get renoise to control Massive’s macro controls but can’t seem to figure it out

Could anyone shed any light?

in massive in the browser view, assign a CC number to the macro control .
then in renoise use the midi control device. set the same CC number.
then the slider in renoise controls the macro controller.

this slider can be automated
