Create an impulse response of your correction filters in Room EQ Wizard.
Instantiate Convolver onto the master channel in Renoise, 100% wet, 0% dry.
I expect the wet volume to be the same as the dry volume.
It is not: it is much quieter.
The available gain is not sufficient to make up for it.
This is true even if the IR is normalized to -0.5 dB out of reaper, and whether in 32 bit FP or 24 bit wav.
Room correction is a critical component of accurate monitoring. Though the majority of mixers might not apply it, being able to natively support such a workflow would benefit those that do.
It would be great if the loaded file could be linked to the master output selector. For example, IR1 would load every time Main Out 1-2 is selected, and IR2 would load every time ADAT 1-2 is selected.
