Renoise 2.8 b8
I made a drumkit and layered two kicks in it. Decided rendering these kicks would be nice to save cpu.
Rendered the kicksound in pattern editor to new instrument, deleted the kicks I had,added a empty sample slot,selected the rendered sample, clicked “copy” ,opened the new empty sample screen, tried pasting the rendered file, did not work.
Tried to paste in instrument settings, did not work neither.

paste it where you’ve copied it (in the sample list), then this will work. Must admit it’s not as comfortable as it could be, but not really a malfunction either.
If you copy raw sample data in the sample editor, you can paste this in the instrument and sample list already though.
