I have a some audio stems for a remix and want to chop them up into smaller patterns. Splitting them all up in the same places would have taken ages. So I found a way to do this…
Slice up one audio stem (eg vocal)
Duplicate it
Highlight the duplicated sample and silence it
Now highlight and copy a new audio stem (eg bass)
Do a mix paste into the silent duplicate
Now you have an exact copy of the slices with a different stem, without having to do them all again!
