Hi. I was working on a project when my laptop died on me. When I got back to it, the resultant .xrns file was reported as corrupt. I was able to extract an .XML file from the archive. I have linked both below. Can anybody have a look at these and tell me if they can be recovered? Thanks
Guys, always save different versions, create a subdir per project, or at least enable the auto-backup functionality of Renoise!
Later, you can then restore parts from backups.
Your song.xml contains random binary data, consider your song to be lost, sorry….
The “zip” is corrupted
@Mastrcode gave a solution past weeks
synthpopalooza1 you can try to recover your files with DMDE Data Recovery.
Another user had a similar problem and was able to recover his corrupted/lost xrni song project.
Here’s the topic:
Maybe that can solve it
