Create phrase from selection ..more then 1 please

Currently we can create only 1 phrase from a selection in the pattern editor —>create phrase .

It would be great if we could create more then 1phrase , a keymap allows more then 1 phrase , so it could easily be created from the pattern edditor

This should be integrated into Renoise. Even the possibility of reordering the phrases within the instrument, multiple selection to drag them to other instruments, etc.

I am always in favor of integrating these things, which seem essential. Moving phrases is something light, they are only XML files that occupy “little space”, depending on the phrase in question.Manipulating phrases massively, as a whole, is not something that requires many resources, only are 126 phrases as much…

That said, it is possible to export patterns-track to phrases (all notes, regardless of the instrument number, or ignoring the non-selected one), through tools.A good way to do this is by using the selection in the sequence, selecting a range here and then selecting a specific track. Thus it is possible to export to phrases up to 126 patterns-track.

At the moment, the matrix editor does not allow selecting random patterns-tracks. Only rectangular groups. With this selection, up to 126 phrases sorted by track, one after the other, could be exported.Surely some scripting programmer would know how to do it. With a function in the drop-down menu would suffice, or a button inside a little window tool.

Sure .

Creating an empty phrase and just select/copy/paste pattern data into the empty phrase works .

So it’s kinda weird why the shortcut ( right click create phrase ) only allows the creation of 1 phrase
