I hope Im postin this at the right place. Im wondering if anybody knows how to make the cursor automatically go back to the point you started playing. like auto return or something?

Automatic return isn’t there.
there is only automatic down or automatic go nowhere. (ctrl - 0) after adding values in the pattern editor.
If you would like to go to the start of the pattern, Home would be your best friend.
If you want particular behavior like you initially requested, it is possible to create it with a script, so all is not lost yet.
You can also use f9 to f12 to jump to sub-divisions of the pattern, plus there are more ways to go through the pattern that I forgot, page up & down?
