Custom humanization

(Chris Edberg) #1

There is no Advanced Editor in Redux, right? So how do I adjust the “strength” of the humanization?

You may rent a human and order the human to flip around on the numbers a bit. Human rental service:http://www.premiumpersonnelinc.com/

Yeah, exactly. Very efficient, never thought about that. :clownstep: This should be official on the Renoise page and they should initiate some kind of co-op, thinking of the demand of the community they would sell GOLD!

Not shure why there’s no section about it in the manual? :stuck_out_tongue:

Is it allowed to customize the human, so it better suits the needs it was bought for?

Two days before release:

“Oops… We totally forgot about the Advanced Editor for Redux!”

“Ah wth, just delete the section from the manual… No one cares… After all, they have:http://www.premiumpersonnelinc.com/

Jokes aside, I just asked and I’m far from a Redux-expert (correct sub-forum right?). Sorry if it’s obvious that Redux shouldn’t have any humanization, I’m curious of the argument for that though?

Hm, I think sarcasm won’t help here. Redux was a pretty awesome product when it was released, more finished than other vendors’ products at release day. But then, no updates anymore, no more add ons (like humanization or script support). Why doesn’t the Renoise/Redux try another way?

I’m just being silly and i totally agree, phrase editor should have an advanced phrase editor operations menu.

I can’t see why not? Consider your human a fully realtime customizable running script.

You can always sack the human and get a replacement, one with better abilities and bigger boo…brains.

I wasn’t sarcastic initially by the thread start, but I couldn’t help to continue the “sarcasm” which was introduced. Either way, jokes are allowed hopefully (also in a serious topic like this).

Interestingly no one has brought up the issue before. Well well, Renoise Rewire is the way to go in the meantime. I’ll keep an eye on Redux though, looking forward to see its developing progress as well.

Yeah sorry, you are right. It’s annoying that nothing changes…

I vote +1 for an advanced editor in redux.
