Sure, we do have user customizable presets for DSP plugins, accessible via mouse menu.

But it would be even nicer if we had the chance to define a custom init preset, so that when adding a native DSP (delay, mpreverb, etc) our user defined parameter setup would be instantly recalled without having to browse in the preset pulldown menu.

yes. i’ve tried out some stuff, and the least that should be made possible is:

  • allowing users to save over factory presets
  • have the init-preset available as an actual file in the factory presets folder, so the file itself may be manually changed (a hack, but it would work)

I too would love a way of getting to set Init* for “default settings in Renoise when loading a plugin”.
