Time to spam the board with my usual production of the week:

Sorry for the loudness, seems like I’m still in the war zone.

loud as f*^% … funk… enjoyed the middle part, i just had to turn it up and boogie.

Yeah! Now where the hell is my discoball?!

The snaredrum is a tad too loud and noisy IMO. It cuts through like a sharktooth in a surfers leg. Totally 80’s sound, but a bit loud.

Oh come on, just release a new album already :D

Love it! :yeah:

Awesome! I love the layering of the voices in the middle. In my opinion the snare is very interesting. I like it a lot. :walkman:

Very groovy, I dig it too.

I’m no expert in this, but couldn’t the vocals cut through the mix a bit better, maybe cut or turn down the melody while the vocals are playing?

The snare is hypnotizing :)

THIS TUNE IS BADASS. That is all.

(The vocals could probably just use more hi-end… either a clearer mic or some boost at 12khz+)

Cheers for the comments!!

Just to clear a few things out:

The snare is indeed loud and it used to be louder in some older mix. That’s how much I love the snare :)

I’m not entirely sure why I left those vocals in, because they were from an older mix and I never really appreciated them. And the sound is like that because I made some major high/lowpassing, my initial idea was to create a radio sound and also put the vocals just echoing in the background… but I got bored (and lazy).

This tune will probably end up in one of my new albums - polished and all that, naturally.

I really love the groove it starts out with, although I would personally enjoy a more reduced version of this tune, with just slight variations on that first steady loop and without the vocals and gimmicks that appear later on.

Still, great work here…

Wow, that’s really fantastic. Killer groove about half-way through and I love the electric pianos in the next section and the brass here and there. Top notch.

I like expanded snare. Each phase of snare decay sounds loud and very precisely. Unfortunately Renoise dynamics plugins doesn’t work with 1:x ratios, only x:1 are available. Vote for new ratios feature here. Nice song. :walkman:

love it, i’ll check it out later, i’m on my headphones right now…
