I’d say that’s the exact opposite… this is what “social pressure” is mostly about: Religion, sexuality, sociality.

You are part right because they are indeed “implanted” but this means they are not naturally embedded in our nature. Their aim is never entirely disruptive on the hosting mind. Most of the times it’s just about “deviating” your personal “energy” outside of you… in form of your time, your “focus”, your ideas, your “intention”, your “emotive” feelings…
