Now whenever I start a new project in Renoise (3.1 of course) the octave setting sets itself to 3, where the most common octave ranges are 4 and 5. It used to default to 4 so I’m wondering why this was changed.

I spent a while searching for that but couldn’t manage to find it, but I just now checked the file menu and found an option that saves the currently opened song as the template. In SunVox you select your template by browsing to a project file from the preferences so I kept checking the preferences in Renoise. Thanks for getting me to look again XP
