Somehow the disk browser is not activated when I start Renoise and I first have to make it visible by clicking it or by restoring my default view preset. Is it off by default?

I thought this was because of paketti? Will try and turn of Paketti and see if it persists, but if so, it is quite irritating imo.

it seems like paketti does influence this, after turning the tool off in the tool browser, the view is remembered after closing Renoise. If you quit renoise while having the diskop expanded it should remember this on the next boot up.

You are right. Paketti is doing it. Is this on purpose?
I’m not sure, there are a lot of options in the preferences, but I haven’t had the tool installed for long, better ask Esa.
