It would be nice to be able to select and delete more than one note at a time. Currently, it can be done. However, you have to you use “CUT” rather than simply depressing the “DEL” key.

i know what you mean because you over-ride your clipboard with shit you want to delete, but i think the point is that your selection is a completely different thing to your cursor position, and delete acts with your position. It’s like this for historic reasons i should imagine and would annoy a lot of people if the position and selection were linked (i often use them independently).
Compromise:
ctrl-del — clear selection
