Allright, this is just a suggestion and maybe too late for 2.7, but…
Could it be handy if we could click on a value in the pattern editor and adjust them just like the numbers in the value boxes?
It would be perfect for example for 0900 etc. click + alt is hold to shift them up and down.same for volume, DELAY column etc.
There is a tool to do those delays with sliders I know bla bla 
i think that one has been suggested before, not sure if i can find it though. anyway, you are indeed too late for 2.7. consider searching the forums for the other thread i think i saw, and/or post your own in the regular Ideas/Suggestions.
