Disabling internal octave switch for MIDI keyboard

Hello!

Is it possible to disable octave switching for an external midi note source?

Thnx!

MIDI-Ox might help here.

Nope

Think you could at least send certain octaves to the ‘bit bucket’ by routing them to channels you aren’t listening on, as for disabling a hardware switch on an electronic device perhaps not, but duck tape might help for that.

What hardware are you working with?

I work on a Mac. the task is to use an external sequencer or midi keyboard to run synthesizers in renoise. my problem is that changing octaves inside the noise shifts the scale from incoming midi commands from an external source.

Mebbe read this one through, it may clarify some things:

Hth

I have the same problem

@taktik it’s possible to disable on renoise switch octave for other external midi gear/instruments?

Thank you
