Hi, how would I go about rendering a 256 row pattern so that I only retain the last 128 rows of said pattern, i.e. how do I chop a “Render Selection to Sample” result in half?
Move the pattern cursor to row 128, use the ‘Mark Pattern below current line’ shortcut (ALT + X by default), then render to sample.
You can also make other pattern selections by clicking/dragging down the column of pattern row numbers displayed at the sides of the pattern editor.
If you’re simply talking about chopping the rendered sample, then you can enable snap to beats in the sample editor to help you make a precise selection.
