i gotta try those things, i still don’t get the slicing but also never tried that “generate drumkit” thing
i guess i never used that column that much in the past unless for speeding or slowing down a sample to exagerate a change in a song, the letter “D” to make it go to the next pattern and… i think that’s it
anyone that could explain slicing samples for dummies?
By what im reading here, and forgive me for assuming, however, you MUST mean ‘TYPE for me’ correct? In that case your making mock of someone for something you know not how to do yourself? In anycase thanks for the trool and also thanks for coming out (I obvioulsy was just having a little fun and making light, how things SHOULD be in this forum)
Honestly I dont reply to trools atall ever but I don’t appreciate people bringing my kids into a convo! Joking or serious DO NOT make ANY mention of my kids… Thanks!
But I only use 1 font, Comic Sans MS :s But no i’ve already talked with him and it wasnt about my “fun use of fonts” but rather my “fun use of words” … how did you do that btw that’s freaking cool =D

Well, when your all out of bubblegum as they say nahhh lol I hope no one ever really takes me for anything less than someone that likes to fuck around, laugh, love and relate to you nerdy types - oh and busting balls. Its all in good fun. lol. Really if your taking the internet that serious anyway - amirite
@spikejones Nothing but love my man - did have quite the chuckle reading this years later however MUAHAHAH!
Slicing would really improve, if we could drag the waveform from left to right, to get the transients exactly on the beat/grid. Only after that, selecting with snap on beat is going to work nicely.
Now I’m always cutting and pasting, small parts at the beginning of my sample, to hope to get the sample on beat.
I’m recording all my samples myself btw, so I’m not talking about processing a breakbeat which is allready cut in place.
Really hope somebody is going to post “But you can drag the sample . . . .”
Never tried ‘slicing up beats’. Always have used the play from sample offset effect command (9xx, Sxx, etc..). I find the sample offset meter in the waveform editor to be a useful new tool.
