for me it crashes
I use it in SVArTracker (32bitz)… works fine in it but Farbrausch needs hard MIDI program change sent to it which SVAr does but many others do not….
You could try to compile this version someone has prepared for modern systems.
But it seems there are some catches with this code repository. Guess it won’t be an easy job.

Nice, checking out the sources. Best way would probably be to try to port it to Distrho-Framework or JUCE to make it VST3/Clap-compatible.
I admit I used some AI to help me with the code.
Does not compile for windows, though.
Awesome - So this is there a way to get this for MacOS? You’re running that on some linux distribution i guess?
I managed to build it for linux now and for windows, too. The speech synthesis is missing completely at the moment.
Compiling for Mac is extremely difficult for me, because my “mac” is just a VM.
AND last but not least, I don’t have an Apple-Developer Account, so even if I compile this for mac, installing the vst is a „security flaw“ in the Apple-world.
I understand.
Guess i have to install XCode again after all …
Last time i kind of successfully compiled mda jx10 for 64bit.
But somehow the parameter changes for presets didn’t work.
And then i gave up at some point. ![]()
If possible, I will set up a repository on Codeberg soon. At the moment I am trying to find out, how to enable the speech synthesis again.
Text to speech works too now, I guess.
As I don’t have windows, somebody might want to try to modify the build.sh to build it for Windows or even Mac.
Hey Marc / Marcel, thanks i manage to compile it for arm64 and it works fine no crashes what ever. Thank you very much ![]()
Hey Marc, works fine in linux and sounds awesome.
Maybe you want to try Sointu, it has a VST too:
