[Done] Function Keys F13 To F19 Issue On Apple Keyboard With Numpad

Hi,

I cannot say how much Renoise rocks! This app is awesome and blows everything I came across from the very beginning of Soundtracker/Protracker over to the most recent DAWs(Logic/Protools/Cubase etc.
Personally, after using the demo for a while now, I would say Renoise is the only piece of software that really deserves the term “completely focused on musicians” after the last version (v4) of Teijo Kinnunen´s OctaMED Pro. But that´s my own point of view, grown over many years, and as said, totally subjective ;)
I am so looking forward to be creative with this awesome app and it only slowly dawns on me what´s all possible with LUA

But now guys to the topic. I have a little problem:

I am using an original apple Keyboard with Numeric Keypad (the aluminium one - My link )
Unfortunately its function keys F13, F15, F16, F17, F18, and F19 cannot be assigned to a function in Renoise preferences. I could only manage to map F14 (recognized as “scroll” by the new assignment box in preferences/keys) to a function. Basicly the others are not recognized in the preferences/keys/new assignment box when you press any of them.
All other keys work without any problem.

The position of F14 is as far as I remember the aquivalent of a PC´s “scroll/lock” key, but I can be mistaken.
I assume it is a Renoise keybinding/Apple keyboard layer compatibility issue.
Anyone else experiencing this issue with the higher F keys on MacOS or Windows?

My current System config:
Renoise 2.6.1 demo version, 1.8GHz iMac G5, OSX 10.4.11, OSX 10.5.6

I hope someone here can help me out.
Cheers

I have a similar keyboard. I can confirm the above.

Changed/fixed that for the next Renoise update. They won’t be assigned to anything by default, but you can assign them manually then.

Oh, and thanks a lot for the nice words about Renoise. Welcome back ;)

thanks for your replies guys.

Wow, awesome :)
Thanks a lot taktik, I feel almost home in Renoise now.
A few things here and there where I still need to get used to. But this Forum is a real blessing.
I can’t wait to get my hands into lua.

see you around

nice, thanks heaps for implementing f13-f19 :)
