is it sensible to assume a good script writer could recreate the XRNS to MIDI scripts as a script plug-in to Renoise in its new native scripting environment?

do you mean so we could have a option to export samples to midi,as we have export samples to .wav??
No a simple request to translate the existing Renoise song structure to midi format with a script.
There is an old external tool which does this, but i thought it didn’t supported the newer XRNS song formats.
