Silly me, of course you can use a key tracker inside a doofer, the reason why this didn’t work for me was because the doofer was located in the master track or a group and it’s those tracks that doesn’t allow key trackers. I thought for a while there it was because the key tracker couldn’t be placed in a doofer inside another doofer, but that shouldn’t be a problem.
So yes, i believe you can achieve what you want, though i’m not shure how it works in groups and master track, if you make the doofer in a normal track then save it and open in a group/master track, maybe it would work then?
I guess it would use too much cpu to be very practical though, but you could activate it when rendering only. I wonder if the CPU usage might be a bug perhaps? It’s so strange it uses next to no cpu alone, but introduce a few LFO’s and cpu goes rocket high.
I just checked out the tuned EQ doofer preset, i think this one almost does this already, only instead of chords it triggers octaves. So i should guess it’s just to offset the hydras so that they hit the keys you want?
Maybe using the multitap delay bandpass filters could work too? Then you could trigger 4 notes frequenzies at a time.
