Hi, is there any chance that Renoise will support Linux native DSSI instruments? I think it would also make easier using Windows VSTis on Linux with dssi-vst plugin.
What do you think?
we have considered supporting DSSI, but for now the support of Linux VST instruments is by far the option which gives the best compromise between width of support and programming/mantaining efforts.
we also needed to evaluate the importance of a Linux version before. at the moment I can say that there are other priorities so I don’t think DSSI support will be implemented any soon (note: I’m not saying that Linux version is being discontinued: I’m only saying that the priorities are new Renoise internal features rather than support for plugins)
