Hi,
Just to remind you about this tricky one again
To reproduce with 2.7.0b2:
enable jack transport
place a note on the first line of a pattern
loop the pattern
hit play.
-> the first note will not be played, or it makes only a “snap”.
This was discussed [here](http://www.renoise.com/board/index.php?/topic/26193-linux-jack-transport-first-notes-skipped-sometimes/page p 212859#entry212859) in regard to 2.6.
I have Ubuntu 10.04 64-bit, jackd 1.9.6. (With Renoise 2.6, the same issue persisted with jackd 0.118 and 32-bit too.)
In a discussion on Linux Audio List it is said that this is not a problem in Jack Transport, but Renoise’s internal. (See a thread titled “[LAU] New beta Renoie 2.7”.)
Anyhow, I really hope this could be solved…
Thanks & best wishes

Scroll down to the [bottom of that same thread…](http://www.renoise.com/board/index.php?/topic/26193-linux-jack-transport-first-notes-skipped-sometimes/page view findpost p 229921) Posted yesterday.
As far as I understand it’s still on the TODO list. It’s not a simple fix.Not possible for 2.7
