When I duplicate a row patterns, a # is added at the beginning of the name of the pattern, does anybody know if I can turn this off? I would just like to have the same name, or an empty field name, like in the source patterns I duplicated.
I’m always busy deleting the # after duplicating a row of patterns
Would settings in a small gui make more sense here, since different users might have different naming wishes / conventions? Whether to append or prepend set characters to the duplicate.
Sure, no problem. but a few examples would really help. like, what are we looking at here. i could then provide a few examples and we could see that it’s working. i mean, of course, i can go something like “append”/“prepend” switch, and a textfield or a dropdown that’s like HEX 0-F 1-F or something like that, but examples would be useful.
yes, i have no problem adding another setting to the Paketti Preferences, but some examples would help
When duplicating using the above, it still takes into account the original naming right? It prepends and appends whatever you’ve put in the settings of the tool? What if you don’t want any text, have the duplicate pattern(s) have an empty field, is that possible using the above?
For me when repeating a bunch of patterns I often use HH, which is short for ‘herhaling’, which is Dutch for repetition, but often I also just clear the name as changes are going to be made and it wont be a repetition.
