Duplicate Track & Select New Track? (Cmd-D=Clone Track)

hi, i’m wondering how to do a cmd-d (duplicates track dsps but not track content) so that the duplicated track becomes the selected one?

is there some regular list of what “Duplicate Track” does, i.e. could it be replicated in such a way that selected_track_index is switched to the duplicated track?

You need to use the pattern notifier for that i guess, because you can’t change to the new track earlier than after it has been created.The next version of Renoise (to recall some claims by taktik) should fire notifiers on more logical moments instead of firing them on moments when you can’t access stuff. My advise:Wait for the version before trying to script something ackward programming-wise.
