This is my first Renoise effort (although not a ‘proper’ tune or song as such).
E-minor backing track for solo guitar:
The final chord of the chord progression (A major) doesn’t strictly belong to the key of E-minor (I think), but it just seems to sound right to my ears.
The soundtrack features some heavy use of Amplitube 3 which, I’m pleased to say, works flawlessly with Renoise.
i don’t know what the purpose was specifically with this backing track (to improvise solos over i guess) but in general i’d say that don’t be afraid of not following keys strictly. go with your ears instead of by the book! (=
