Just a little ad here, I finally managed to find a nice/easy/free page for hosting mixsets and my (rather old now) eastern jazz mixsets are finally up on the web and will stay there, for streaming and downloading.
xstreamist.com/litm for the mixes and eastern-crates.com for high-quality covers.
oh, and if you dont know what to expect : 60s and 70s jazz from eastern europe. stuff you probably never heard of before

thanks Looza, I’m listening to the mixes now. Really cool stuff, though I prefer the metropolitan atmospheres from Tokyo Dawn Records
by the way: I’ve seen the tracklist, but it has no timeline, so which is the group which song starts at about 25’ on Volume 1?
I’m lazy, I know

hehe, its “zbigniew namyslowski quartet - song of the pterodactyl”. the title fits the song perfectly, somehow.

indeed I thought it was that, though I’ve never seen a pterodactly musician
remembers me of Mahavishnu Orchestra . Well, I believe it would remember them to anyone who knows them.
